Whether you call this wonderful magical Santa Claus, Kriss Kringle, Father Christmas, Saint Nick, or another name.. the magic and gift of love is Universal.
I love the holidays.. with all the glitter, trim, songs and brisk breeze in the air. We don't have snow here in south Alabama.. so I dream of it.. and create Beings that express the magic and joy of the holidays.
On this page you will find some delightful Santa's.. old world, new world and maybe a few New Age.. LOL Whatever strikes my fancy to create.
I began sewing cloth Santa's about 30 years ago with the birth of my first child. We filled every room of our home with decorations of all sorts.. even the bathrooms were decorated with a Santa, Angel and some holly.
My children and I would start creating decorations months ahead of putting up the tree. They loved taking old cards and cutting out a section, gluing glitter and lace trim to make a beautiful artwork to hang on the tree.
Now I have several trees throughout the house and we still continue the tradition of making our own ornaments and decorations. There is just a certain feel to creating something that represents so much love, joy and peace and filling your home with this unique item and it's energy.
I began selling a few of these creations about 20 years ago to family and friends. Now I offer them to you, my online family and friends. I will do custom Santa's.. just email me and lets create something that says "Christmas" to you and your family.

I created this Santa using a pattern design by Vogue about 20 years ago. I made lots of changes to the original pattern, but still want to give them credit for the original pattern.
He measures 25 inches tall from his golden boots to the top of his glowing gold hat.. A tassel hangs from his hat as well as his bag of toys.
I used velvet and lots of it.. I love the fabric, in an offwhite color. Accenting the robe is a beautiful gold and white trim.
His bag is green velvet filled with a bear, train and decorative branch.
I included a wreath for his other hand.
He has a scultped cloth face with painted eyes and mouth.
He has a cloth body over wire armature and will stand on his own when against a wall etc.
Vintage buttons accent his boots.
He is signed and dated. I don't duplicate exact designs so he is a one of a kind... just perfect to bring the message of holiday cheer to your home.

Regardless of whether we are in support of the War in Iraq, we are all in support of the many men and women who are there on our behalf.
With this in mind, I created this original Cloth Santa.
He sports a suit with the Statue of Liberty.. precious to all Americans for what it stands for.. our Freedom and way of life.
He has English wool for a beard and hair, carries a bag of the flag, with a yellow ribbon.. till they come safely home..!
He brings toys and most importantly.. the prayers of so many children who wish for mothers and fathers home this holiday season.
